Duties Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety and engagement. Implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and creativity. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily updates. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond swiftly to emergencies. Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care as needed. Enforce behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and social interactions among children. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is a bonus! We will Train the right person! Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse or neglect. Ability to manage classroom behavior with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques.
