Job Description
Fun and Informal Family seeking Aide/Childcare in home for child living with ASD and his 2 brothers. Our family is looking for a part-time friend for our Autistic 11-year-old we can enjoy our family time together. Duties would include helping our son remember to go potty, behavior management, practicing language skills (expressive and receptive), adaptive skills, and social skills with his brothers and friends in the community. We are also looking for someone to come on fun day trips with us like Imagination Station, The Toledo Zoo, the park, or the pool. We are also looking for some help on school mornings so getting on the bus is a stress free start to the day. Brothers will usually be around, so they will want in on the action too. In essence, we are looking for a way to function like a typical family and access the community in ways that other typical families do. Mom and/or Dad will be present unless something is arranged in advance.
