As the Center Director, you will be responsible for the overall success of the center by providing exceptional leadership, ensuring operational excellence, building strong relationships with families, and creating a positive workplace culture where both children and teachers can flourish. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain high-quality educators. Create and manage staff schedules while maintaining proper classroom ratios. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and professional development. Foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging workplace culture. Conduct performance evaluations and hold team members accountable to expectations. Enrollment & Family Engagement Conduct center tours for prospective families. Build strong relationships with current and prospective families. Manage enrollment goals and maintain high occupancy. Respond promptly to inquiries through phone, email, and online lead sources. Ensure exceptional customer service and family satisfaction. Marketing & Community Outreach Develop and execute local marketing initiatives. Build partnerships within the Powell community. Maintain an engaging social media presence. Represent The Learning Experience at community events and networking opportunities. Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with all Ohio Department of Children and Youth licensing regulations. Maintain compliance with all The Learning Experience operational standards and brand expectations. Oversee health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate child and employee records. Prepare for licensing visits, quality assurance reviews, and internal audits. Financial & Administrative Management Monitor center performance and enrollment metrics. Assist with budgeting and expense management. Manage tuition collections and administrative reporting. Oversee inventory, supplies, and daily center operations. What We're Looking For Proven leadership experience in early childhood education. Strong knowledge of Ohio child care licensing regulations. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience with staffing, scheduling, and team development. Enrollment, sales, or customer service experience preferred. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Passion for creating a positive culture for children, families, and staff. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with The Learning Experience curriculum and operational standards is a plus. Qualifications CDA, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Business Management, or a related field preferred. Previous experience as a Center Director or Assistant Director required. Meets Ohio licensing requirements for a Child Care Center Administrator. Ability to pass all required background checks and maintain required certifications.
