Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Child Care Staff to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. Your primary focus will be on fostering developmental growth, ensuring child safety, and supporting families through attentive communication. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and needs Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being Administer basic first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary, responding promptly to any injuries or emergencies Support children with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care needs in a respectful manner Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster positive behavior management strategies Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to work effectively with toddlers, infants, and preschool-aged children in a nurturing manner Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where children thrive! Pay:
$11.50 - $12.00 per hour
