Position Summary:
As a Floater, you'll play a key role in supporting our staff and creating a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for our students—from toddlers to kindergarteners. Every day will be a little different, offering variety and the chance to work with multiple age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coverage in various classrooms when teachers are out or on break Supervise and engage with children in a calm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate way Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and routines as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the center, including sanitizing surfaces and materials Support daily operations by completing tasks like prepping activities, restocking supplies, or running errands within the school Be a flexible team player, ready to jump in wherever help is needed
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or GED required Passion for working with children Reliable, adaptable, and ready to take initiative Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and be on your feet throughout the day Prior experience in a childcare or classroom setting is a plus—but not required!
