Duties Supervise children during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to childhood development Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Support children with personal care routines such as diapering, feeding, and nap times in accordance with best practices Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive conduct and resolve conflicts calmly Assist in emergency situations by applying first aid or CPR when necessary and following mandated reporting laws Skills Experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to different developmental stages Strong child supervision skills combined with patience and empathy Familiarity with first aid procedures and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving practices Understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to foster growth in young learners while developing their own skills in early childhood education.
