Yes About the Schedule Both parents are resident physicians , meaning their hospital schedules rotate from week to week. To create consistency, the nanny will select the Monday-Thursday days they prefer to work at the beginning of employment, and those workdays will remain the same throughout the position. This position is ideal for a nanny who appreciates consistency in workdays while understanding that daily hours will vary . While the days are consistent , the start and end times will vary based on the parents' schedules. The nanny should be available to work anytime between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM on their scheduled days. In practice, most weeks average 30-35 hours , though some weeks may be closer to 40 hours , while others may be as light as 10-15 hours . The schedule naturally balances out over the course of the month.
