Job Description

La Petite Playschool & La Petite Nursery are searching for two AMAZING people to join our team! About Us La Petite Playschool and La Petite Nursery have been serving the Corvallis community since 2008. We are in-home, year-round, state-certified childcare programs with strict health and safety standards, similar to those of a larger childcare facility. Our primary goal is to provide parents with peace of mind, knowing their children are safe, loved, and well cared for. Our professional, trained staff provide high-quality care for children ages 6 weeks through 6 years. Position Overview This is a part-time position averaging 15 to 35 hours per week depending on what the Assistant's needs are. Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities Assist with feeding, diapering, and basic care routines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment Support classroom routines and transitions Help with light cleaning and facility upkeep Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements Must be willing to cover shifts when available Qualifications Must genuinely enjoy working with young children (6 weeks to 3 years of age) Must have tons of energy and patience Must be dependable with reliable transportation Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, active, and sometimes stressful (yet very rewarding) environment What We're Looking For If you have a passion for working with little people, this might be the perfect job for you! Job Type:
Part-time Schedule:
