THE POSITION A

wonderful family in Chester Springs is looking for a dependable, engaging nanny to help care for their toddler and newborn during the afternoon and evening hours. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position with a consistent 12pm-8pm schedule , so please make sure those hours work well for you before applying. The parents are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with little ones, communicates well, and is comfortable jumping in during the busy afternoon and evening routine.

THE CHILDREN

The family has an 18-month-old toddler and a newborn Their toddler can be a little shy when first meeting someone new, but once she warms up, she is silly, outgoing, and a lot of fun. The family would love a nanny who will talk, read, sing, play, and interact with her throughout the day. They are also working on encouraging her speech and language development through normal play and conversation. Their newborn is formula fed and generally a very happy baby. The nanny should be comfortable with normal newborn care including bottles, diapering, soothing, and helping with the evening routine.

• WHAT THE FAMILY IS LOOKING FOR They would love someone who is:
• Comfortable caring for both a toddler and newborn
• Warm, patient, and engaging with children
• Comfortable helping with light household tasks during the day
• A strong communicator who can keep Mom and Dad updated
• Comfortable supporting the toddler's speech and language through everyday interaction
• Dependable and looking for a long-term position Very little, if any, driving is expected while on duty. The family also has a very sweet female Corgi, so applicants should be comfortable around dogs.
• SCHEDULE Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm 40 hours per week The family would ideally like someone to start ASAP, although finding the right nanny is more important than rushing the start date.
• COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $26
• 30+ per hour , depending on experience
