Duties Supervise children during daily activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and engagement Implement age-appropriate child development instruction aligned with early childhood education standards Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, behaviors, and needs Apply child supervision best practices, including behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Respond promptly to emergencies using pediatric first aid and CPR skills when necessary Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns regarding child safety or well-being Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and inclusive practices Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care as needed in toddler or infant care settings Collaborate with team members to plan engaging activities that promote childhood development and social skills Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices is essential Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education environments is advantageous Classroom experience managing young children's behavior and fostering positive interactions is desirable Certification in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, or related health & safety training is required or highly recommended Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety is important Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members Passion for teaching young children and supporting their growth through nurturing guidance and structured activities Join us in shaping bright futures!
