Weekend Family & Senior Dog Caregiver Seeking a Reliable, Caring, and Trustworthy Weekend Caregiver We are looking for a highly dependable, mature, and caring individual to become a consistent part of our household and provide weekend care for our two sweet senior dogs and, during designated weeks, our 2-year-old child . This is an ideal opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys caring for children and animals and is looking for a long-term, consistent weekend position with a warm family. Senior Dog Care Our two dogs are both 14 years old . They are extremely gentle, affectionate, and easygoing.

Responsibilities include:

Feeding and providing fresh water Short walks and bathroom breaks Administering medications Providing companionship and attention Maintaining their normal routine Giving once-daily subcutaneous fluids to one dog Veterinary or senior-pet experience is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right person to administer subcutaneous fluids. The process is straightforward to learn, and we will provide hands-on instruction and support. Weekend Childcare Our 2-year-old is with us for approximately 3 weeks at a time, followed by 3 weeks away . During the 3-week periods when our child is present, we are looking for weekend-only childcare support . There is no regular weekday childcare requirement .

Weekend childcare responsibilities may include:

Caring for and supervising our 2-year-old Preparing simple meals and snacks Playtime and age-appropriate activities Helping maintain the child's normal routine Providing attentive, patient, and nurturing care Occasional Travel & Overnight Coverage In addition to regular weekend support, we would like someone who can occasionally provide overnight care and travel coverage when owner is away. Travel is anticipated approximately 1 x per month , typically for 2-4 days at a time . Overnight and travel needs will be discussed in advance whenever possible. The Right Person We are looking for someone who is: Dependable, responsible, and trustworthy Mature and reliable Patient, nurturing, and attentive Comfortable caring for both a toddler and senior dogs Consistently available on weekends Comfortable staying overnight when needed Willing to learn how to administer medications and subcutaneous fluids A good communicator who takes initiative Looking for a consistent, long-term relationship with owner Comfortable providing care in a private family home Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience, availability, and responsibilities. We are looking for the right long-term fit and are happy to discuss compensation based on the candidate's experience and the type of coverage needed.
