Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Live-In Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for 2 children. This role offers the unique opportunity to become an integral part of a family's daily life, ensuring the children's safety, development, and happiness in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about childcare, proactive in creating engaging activities, and committed to fostering a positive, structured routine. This is a paid position that provides comfortable private living arrangements, allowing for a close bond with the children and family while maintaining professional boundaries. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for the children, including supervising daily activities and ensuring their safety at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children's dietary needs and preferences Engage the child in age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and developmental exercises Assist with routines such as school prep, bedtime routines, and feeding schedules Maintain a clean and organized living space, including light housekeeping related to childcare duties such as cleaning toys and children's areas Support learning through teaching basic skills, reading stories, and encouraging curiosity Administer first aid when necessary and handle minor health concerns with professionalism and care Collaborate with parents to follow specific caregiving plans and communicate about the child's progress or any concerns Requirements Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age Knowledge of childcare best practices including infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks suitable for young children Strong cleaning skills to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the child Experience working in daycare settings or as a nanny/babysitter is advantageous Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills and patience Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and family needs Join us in creating a warm, supportive environment where your nurturing skills can truly shine!
