Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-in Nanny with specialized experience in caring for children with disabilities and special needs. Duties Provide attentive, personalized care for children with disabilities and special needs, including toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and emotional comfort Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and sleep schedules tailored to each child's requirements Support developmental activities by engaging in age-appropriate play, teaching, and educational exercises to foster learning and social skills Prepare nutritious meals and snacks suited to dietary restrictions or specific health needs of the children Maintain a clean and organized living environment through residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up shared spaces Offer personal transportation assistance for appointments, therapy sessions, or outings as needed Collaborate with parents and healthcare professionals to implement care plans and monitor progress or changes in the children's condition Qualifications Proven experience working with children in nannying or childcare roles, especially with children who have disabilities or special needs Demonstrated expertise in caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children through daycare or babysitting experience Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in working with children with disabilities is highly preferred Strong skills in meal preparation, caregiving routines, and household management within a private home setting Ability to provide personal transportation assistance safely and responsibly Experience with caregiving tasks such as cleaning, residential housekeeping, and childcare-related teaching activities Compassionate attitude combined with excellent communication skills to work effectively with children of varying needs and their families Join us to make a positive impact by providing exceptional care tailored specifically to children with special needs.
