An Area Manager is responsible for supervising the day to day operations of the centers within their area to ensure they meet or exceed the goals of the company by supporting its values. They work with a team of directors and assistant directors in a fast paced, exciting, child loving environment. The Area Manager must be willing to make tough decisions and coach directors to do the same. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our team to fill this rewarding position. Sign on bonus ranging from $500-$4500 based on education credentials.

EOE Job Description:

The Area Manager is responsible for providing leadership in the day to day operations of the program including: 1. Provide leadership and guidance to your assigned Center Directors and Support Staff. 2. Ensure compliance with all Keystone STARS, Early Head Start, PA Pre-K Counts, NAEYC, and DHS standards. 3. Supervise, train, and evaluate Directors in your assigned centers and ensure the Directors fulfill their responsibilities. 4. Human resources and supervision 5. Ongoing monitoring and self-assessment 6. Oversee fiscal management of centers.

Requirements:

1.BS Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related degree with 30 ECE credits. 2. Two years of experience in early childhood education with a preference for supervisory experience 3. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 4. Thorough and organized with the ability to manage in a fast paced environment. 5. Knowledge of Keystone Star 4, NAEYC, Pre-K Counts and Early Head Start standards. 6. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum.
