ABOUT THE ROLE A

warm and welcoming Mechanicsburg family is seeking a reliable, long-term full-time nanny to care for their energetic 1.5-year-old. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, patient, and genuinely passionate about early childhood development. SCHEDULE & HOURS

Regular Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Must have flexibility to start on occasion @ 6 am. Also to work a very few weekends a year and the rare chance to work into the evening. This is a full-time, long-term position (minimum 1 year).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide safe, attentive supervision and engage child in age-appropriate play, activities, and developmental enrichment Assist with potty training Prepare light, child-friendly meals and snacks Manage child's laundry Tidy nursery, organize toys, and maintain a safe play environment Wash dishes, bottles, and clean up after child-related meals and activities Communicate daily updates and any concerns to parents Care for one small household dog (Corgi) in a friendly, comfortable manner Weekly cleaning of toys, vacuuming and mopping play area and nursery

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly rate: $23-$26/hr, based on experience Competitive, guaranteed pay with legal, on-the-books compensation Paid time off (PTO) Paid sick time

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 3 years of paid professional childcare experience Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable personal vehicle Ability to pass a comprehensive background check Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening Vaccination requirement: must be current with Tdap, MMR, Varicella. Seasonal flu shot is preferred.
