Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-time Child Care Floater, Monday through Friday, 6:30am-9:30am to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this versatile role, you will provide flexible, high-quality childcare support across multiple classrooms and settings, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. Your proactive approach and compassionate demeanor will help foster positive developmental experiences for children while supporting the needs of our staff and families. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience, contribute to early childhood development, and make a meaningful difference in young lives. Responsibilities Supervise children attentively, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times during activities and transitions Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social skills Communicate effectively with parents during drop-off Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials, toys, and learning spaces to promote safety and hygiene Be adaptable by covering different classrooms or age groups as needed, providing consistent care regardless of setting Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments is highly preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Certifications such as First Aid, Pediatric First Aid, CPR, or Childcare Training are required or highly desirable Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children in a professional manner Previous classroom experience in early childhood settings will help you thrive in this dynamic role Join us as a Part-time Child Care Floater to inspire young minds while supporting a collaborative team dedicated to fostering growth and joy in every child's day!
