Hours:

Harrisburg Academy also pays for all DHS training certifications. This individual is responsible for teaching and supervising young children in the classroom and in our outside activity areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maximize classroom space and provided materials to encourage fun and creative activities for after school learning and play, supporting both group and individual play. Supervise students in outdoor and playground activity areas ensuring their safety. Foster a positive morale among colleagues. Has strong, clear communication skills with students, colleagues and parents. Enforce the program rules, expectations and structure. Address behavioral issues as they arise.

Extended Care Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing high school diploma; completion and receipt of high school diploma preferred. Childcare experience and post-high school EEC or ECE credits a plus. Current State Police, Child Abuse, FBI Clearances, a physical, and a TB test are required.
