Job Description

A part-time floater works with the full time lead to carry out operational activities of the facility. They engage with the children in play and learning and help to foster a healthy environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate reliable attendance, timeliness, and engagement Ensure environment is clean, organized, and ready for children before and after each shift Consistently engage with children in play and learning in a positive manner that makes each child feel valued and cared for Actively follow security procedures during check-in and check-out children Communicates effectively with parents and guardians about the needs of their child/children and any concerns. Maintain calm composure and utilize appropriate techniques to redirect children when high emotion situations arise Communicate with team lead consistently around children's learning progress, personal developmental items, and emotions.
Occupational Requirements:
Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Strong emotional regulation abilities Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole body Ability to lift up to 50lbs Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time. Two years of experience working with children (2,500 hours)
Education:
Highschool Diploma or GED (general education certificate)
Clearances Required:
State background check, Federal Background check (finger prints), NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) check, Child Abuse Clearances Other necessary checks/trainings: Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid, Childcare Health Assessment and TB test, Mandated Reporter Training Little Ones will work with you to get your clearances and other required trainings.
