Hello! Our family is seeking a household assistant, starting this November! This is a long-term, part-time position (2-3 days per week, ~8-12 hours total per week). We're flexible about start and end times on the days you work. We're hoping to find someone interested in staying on long-term! The job starts this November. Pay is $20-25/hr, depending on experience.

1 friendly dog Job duties include: Meal prep. We try to follow a Mediterranean diet. This includes prep for a large family dinner on most Friday nights (for 10 people) Light housekeeping (e.g., cleaning the baby's highchair tray) Organization (e.g., tidying up the playroom) Laundry (mostly folding/hanging) Optionally helping with simple tasks outside of the home (e.g., dropping off a Goodwill donation, picking up a grocery order). This is not a requirement, but we reimburse for mileage!

This job does not involve transportation, managing staff, or creating schedules (i.e., it's not a household manager position) No heavy cleaning About us: We're a professional couple with a dog. We are now empty nesters, but our children and grandchildren live nearby and we see them several days a week. So, we are basically a large, multi-generational family. We are easy-going and very flexible about most considerations We value having a positive and respectful relationship with anyone we work with. We often work from home and are available to answer questions and pitch in as needed.

Job requirements:

Reliable, energetic, organized, and a good communicator Interested in helping with cooking, light housekeeping, organization/tidying up, laundry, and other basic household tasks. Able to provide 2-3 client (i.e., non-family/non-friend) references OK with dogs. Our pup doesn't need any care, but she'll be around the house. Available to work on Fridays Able to work ~8-12 hours total, per week. We're very flexible about the schedule, but prefer at least two shifts spread out across the week (with Friday being a must) Able to transport yourself to and from our house Clean criminal background check (we'll pay for the background check) Just FYI, we unfortunately cannot accommodate other kiddos in our house.
