Local Pet Nanny
Job Description
Southern Paws Pet Sitting is hiring dependable, responsible Pet Nannies to provide in-home pet care for dogs and cats in the Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville areas. This is a part-time, year-round position for someone who enjoys working with animals and is comfortable working independently while traveling between clients' homes. Job Responsibilities Pet Nannies are responsible for providing safe, reliable care according to each client's instructions.
Duties may include:
Visiting clients' homes to care for dogs and cats Feeding pets and providing fresh water Administering medications when required and following specific care instructions Walking dogs and providing exercise appropriate for each pet Playing with and engaging cats and other pets Cleaning litter boxes and handling minor pet-related messes Following instructions regarding individual pet routines and needs Sending visit updates, photos, and notes to clients through our mobile app Maintaining professional communication with clients and the Southern Paws team Schedule & Pay This is a part-time position with year-round opportunities .
Weekday daytime visits:
$15.00/hour Evening, weekend, and holiday visits: $20.00/hour Available scheduling blocks include:
Morning:
7:00 AM
•12:00
PM Midday:
12:00 PM
•5:00
PM Evening:
6:00 PM
•10:00 PM Weekend and holiday availability is required. Actual hours may vary based on client bookings and scheduling needs.
Applicants must:
Be 21 years of age or older Have a dependable, insured vehicle and a valid driver's license Be comfortable driving between multiple client homes Be available to work in Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville Be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Be comfortable caring for different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs and cats Be dependable, organized, and able to work independently Have good communication skills and attention to detail Be willing to follow detailed instructions for each pet and household Previous professional pet-sitting experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.
