Part-Time After School Nanny/Family Assistant
Job Description
Part-Time Family Assistant / After-School Nanny Green Hills, TN Lifetime of Love Nannies is seeking a responsible, proactive, and highly organized Family Assistant/Nanny to support a busy family with three children, ages 12, 9, and 6 . Schedule Monday-Thursday 1:00 PM-6:00 PM Approximately 20 hours/week $18-$21/hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
Start date:
Flexible Commitment preferred through the current school year, if not longer. Responsibilities This position is a combination of after-school childcare and family assistance . The ideal candidate will help bring structure and organization to the family's afternoons and make day-to-day life run more smoothly.Responsibilities may include:
Picking children up from school Safely transporting children to and from after-school activities Helping children with homework and providing patient, supportive supervision Light household organization and tidying Meal preparation and helping prepare things for the family's upcoming schedule Walking the family dog Helping manage the family's calendar and activities Getting ahead of household tasks and preparing things before they are needed Taking initiative to identify what needs to be done and following through without constant direction Communicating clearly and consistently with the parents regarding schedules, activities, and any changes Providing general support to help the household feel more organized and less chaotic Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of professional childcare experience Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation suitable for safely transporting childrenCPR & SIDS
certification (or willingness to obtain-resoures provided) Must be willing to pass background, driving record, and social media screening — all costs covered by Lifetime of Love Nannies Comfortable around pets, including cats and dogs Highly reliable, responsible, and professional Strong communication skills with an emphasis on prompt, clear, and consistent communication Proactive and able to take initiative and anticipate the family's needs Flexible and comfortable adapting to changing family schedules Patient, supportive, and encouraging with children, especially during homework time What's great about being on our team?
