11:45am-6pm, M-F Must be able to pass a drug test, background check and FBI Fingerprint Job Summary Join our faith-based childcare center as a Floater Caregiver, where your energetic and compassionate approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. As a vital team member, you will provide flexible, nurturing care across various classrooms, provide lunch relief for lead teachers and care for infants in the afternoon as well as help close the center with another closer. You will be helping to support children's developmental needs and ensuring a safe, engaging environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while fostering a love for early childhood education and faith-based values. Your role will be essential in creating a warm, supportive atmosphere that promotes growth, learning, and spiritual development for children of different ages. Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during naptime and daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Support classroom teachers with child supervision, behavior management, and age-appropriate instruction Provide care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs as needed, following individualized plans Implement child development instruction strategies to promote social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth Maintain open communication with parents about their child's progress and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns promptly Support classroom management by organizing activities, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine care tasks in accordance with health and safety guidelines Participate in ongoing training on first aid (including pediatric first aid), CPR, childhood development, and behavior management techniques Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare centers or preschool settings is highly preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development instruction methods is desirable Classroom experience in daycare or preschool environments demonstrates strong classroom management skills Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols is essential Experience caring for infants and toddlers through nannying or babysitting roles enhances your ability to adapt to diverse age groups Prior involvement in teaching or supervising children in faith-based or community settings is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds within a faith-centered environment. Pay:
