Job Description
Overview Closing Shift for classrooms in a childcare facility, working from 2:30 pm to 6:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Ensuring all children are safely picked up Cleaning and sanitizing all spaces Completing documentation and communication tasks Engage children in calm activities (quiet reading, puzzles, drawing) Put away toys, books, and learning materials. Tables, chairs, counters Toys and manipulatives used during the day Wipe down cubbies, sinks, and doorknobs. Empty classroom trash and recycling. Disinfect changing tables and toilets. Restock diapers, wipes, paper towels, soap. Sweep and mop if necessary.
