Little Tiger Academy is East Layton's PREMIER Childcare, Preschool, Before & After School Care and Summer Day Camp Center! Our center was designed and constructed with children in mind! We are the newest and cleanest center available in East Layton! Come see for yourself!!! We are looking for several teachers to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.Responsibilities:
Assist other daycare staff in supervising and monitoring children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, storytime, and outdoor play. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by following daycare policies and procedures. Help maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including sanitizing toys and surfaces regularly. Assist with serving snacks and meals to children, and monitoring dietary restrictions Support children with basic needs, including diaper changing and toilet training. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's activities, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with daycare staff to plan and implement educational and recreational programs. Adhere to all state licensing regulations and guidelines for daycare facilities.Qualifications:
Early childhood education coursework or certification preferred . Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is desirable. Passion for working with young children and promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and coworkers. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with children of varying ages and needs. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring) . Clear background check and TB test results required.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry children and supplies up to 50 pounds. Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. Capacity to engage in physical activities with children, including running, jumping, and playing.Benefits/Compensation:
Starting pay is $14.00 - $15.00 per hour depending on employment status (full or part-time), relevant education and/or experience.Application Instructions:
