About the Family We are helping a warm, joyful family in Charlottesville find an exceptional nanny to care for their children. They are a faith-driven family who values kindness, patience, connection, and creating a loving home. They're looking for someone who will become a trusted part of their family's life. The family has three children, though your primary focus will be their toddler. The older children are independent and require minimal supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with families and creating engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for children. Schedule Approximately 30 hours per week

Tuesdays:

8:15 AM-6:15

PM Fridays:

8:15 AM-6:15 PM Monday or Wednesday afternoon/evening (flexible)

Late August / Early September 2026 Responsibilities Provide loving, attentive care Plan age-appropriate activities and play Encourage learning through everyday experiences Outdoor play and neighborhood outings Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children Light clean-up related to the children Communicate with parents about the day's activities Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is: Kind and patient Dependable Creative and engaging Comfortable caring for toddlers A strong communicator Interested in building a long-term relationship with the family Respectful of the family's Christian values and home environment Qualifications At least one year of childcare experience Previous nanny or early childhood experience preferred Reliable transportation CPR/First Aid preferred Able to meet the family's vaccination requirements Benefits $18-22/hour depending on experience Two weeks paid vacation Supportive and appreciative family Opportunity for a long-term position
