Now Interviewing Nannies for Upcoming Family Placements Wise Steps Consulting is currently interviewing experienced, dependable, and nurturing nanny candidates for upcoming family placements throughout Charlottesville, Albemarle County, Crozet, Afton, and surrounding areas . Our families are typically looking for caregivers who are nurturing, engaging, communicative, and excited to support children's growth and development in a loving home environment. Opportunities may include full-time, part-time, short-term, and long-term nanny positions , depending on each family's needs. Wise Steps Consulting supports candidates throughout the matching and interview process. Nannies are hired directly by individual families, and there is no fee for candidates to join our nanny network or be considered for placements. Typical Nanny Responsibilities Responsibilities vary by family and position but may include: Providing attentive, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care in a private home Supporting daily routines including feeding, naps, play, and age-appropriate engagement Creating opportunities for enrichment through play, reading, outdoor time, and outings Preparing meals or snacks for children and cleaning up afterward Helping reset child-related spaces and maintain an organized environment throughout the day Supporting families' preferences around routines, activities, and screen time Communicating regularly and professionally with parents regarding routines, needs, and day-to-day updates Respecting each family's home, values, and preferences while contributing to a warm and positive caregiving environment
