Pay:

$30-$35/hour, based on experience A warm, active, family-oriented family in Falls Church is seeking an experienced full-time nanny for their 2-year-old and newborn, arriving in December. The nanny will primarily focus on the toddler initially, while gradually getting to know and assisting with the newborn as the family settles into their new routine. The ideal candidate has strong experience with both toddlers and infants and is patient, energetic, nurturing, and highly engaged. The toddler loves being outdoors, playing sports, going for walks, and staying active. The nanny should enjoy planning fun, age-appropriate activities and getting out of the house. Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing care for the toddler and, as the baby grows, both children Plan age-appropriate activities, outdoor play, walks, and outings Drive the child to nearby parks, libraries, and activities Follow established nap, meal, and daily routines Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to family guidelines Encourage curiosity, independence, and positive behavior Maintain a near-zero screen-time environment Provide detailed daily updates to parents Handle light child-related housekeeping, including laundry, tidying play areas, meal cleanup, and light kitchen help Gradually transition into caring for both children Ideal Candidate Strong experience with both toddlers and infants Patient, calm, nurturing, and consistent Active and comfortable spending lots of time outdoors Creative and proactive about planning activities Reliable and punctual Comfortable driving with children Comfortable around two family dogs Organized and naturally tidy Present and engaged with minimal phone use while working Open to feedback and able to follow family preferences Strong, clear, and respectful communicator If you're an experienced nanny who loves caring for little ones, staying active, and becoming a trusted part of a family, we'd love to hear from you!
