Number of Shifts/Week:
7 Are you an experienced Newborn Care Specialist looking for your next 24/7 placement? Second-time parents in McLean, VA are seeking a knowledgeable and dependable newborn care professional to provide around-the-clock support for approximately 6-8 weeks, beginning around August 20, 2026, through October 15, 2026. Private accommodations will be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional care while supporting the family through the newborn stage. The ideal candidate has extensive, recent professional newborn care experience, a strong understanding of infant sleep, feeding, and early development, and is confident partnering with experienced parents to establish healthy routines. Breastfeeding support experience is a plus, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and any household staff. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Newborn Care Specialist seeking a rewarding, full-time temporary placement with an appreciative family.
Qualifications:
Extensive professional and recent newborn care experience Excellent understanding of infant sleep, feeding, and development Breastfeeding support experience preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents and household staff Excellent professional references Must be legal to work in the United States Compensation $35-$55/hour, depending on your experience, certifications and services provided You quote your own rate — families pay you directly.
