Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Nanny to provide exceptional afternoon care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children of various ages, including infants, and possess the skills necessary to educate, engage, and support their development. This role involves not only childcare but also meal preparation, child transportation (in family-owned vehicle), and light cleaning to maintain a clean and safe environment for the children. Hours will be Monday-Friday 3:30pm-7:30pm. Daily schedule requires Nanny to pick up three children from daycare, facilitate playtime, prepare and children feed dinner, and bath time for toddlers and infant. The children are aged 4, 3, and 1. Duties Provide attentive and loving care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. infant and toddler care, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing. Cook dinner, feed children, and clean up afterwards. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after meals and playtime. Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure emergency procedures are understood. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns. Qualifications Proven experience in childcare or nannying, with references available upon request. Strong understanding of child development principles and practices. Experience with infant care is required. Ability to educate children through engaging activities that foster growth. Skills in meal preparation that cater to children's nutritional needs. Capable of maintaining cleanliness in the home environment while caring for children. Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred; certification is a plus. Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset. A genuine passion for caregiving and nurturing young minds.
