Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Childcare Giver to join our team on a part-time basis, working from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide attentive and nurturing care to young children in a private home setting. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, and experienced in caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. Your primary goal will be to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the child's development and well-being. This position emphasizes the importance of fostering positive interactions while managing daily routines with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties Provide attentive childcare for children, including infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged kids, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences Engage children with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development Assist with preschool routines such as nap times, diaper changes, and educational play Maintain a clean and organized living space by performing residential housekeeping tasks including cleaning up after children and tidying play areas Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing personalized caregiving strategies Offer personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs or outings when necessary Administer basic first aid and CPR in case of emergencies, following proper safety protocols Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on the child's activities, health, and milestones Qualifications Proven experience working with children in roles such as babysitting, nannying, daycare teaching, or private home childcare Demonstrated ability to care for infants and toddlers with patience and compassion Knowledge of childcare best practices including preschool activities, meal preparation, infant care, and caregiving techniques for children with disabilities or special needs Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications related to childcare or teaching are a plus Ability to perform light cleaning duties related to childcare areas and residential housekeeping tasks Personal transportation skills to assist with outings or errands as needed Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents and family members Energetic attitude combined with reliability, responsibility, and a genuine love for working with children Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive!
