About This Role We are seeking a reliable and experienced Childcare Float Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the flexibility to support various classrooms within our center. You will be responsible for caring for children aged 4 months up to 5 years, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Hours:

7am-5pm 4 days a week (ten hour days with 1 rotating day off each week) What You'll Do Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in various age groups (4 months to 5 years) Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans. Support lead teachers in daily routines and educational activities. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members. Adhere to all childcare regulations and center policies. Assist with mealtime, diapering, and toileting as needed. Requirements Previous experience in the childcare field is required. Ability to pass a DCYF Background check Prior to start day. Reliable and punctual. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a team. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices. Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and needs. CPR and First Aid certification is required
