Schedule:
The family is seeking 16-20 hours per week with a somewhat flexible schedule (typically 2 weekday shifts per week, from 4:00-8:00 PM, and weekends usually being 4-6 hours per day, most often 10:00 AM-2:00 PM or 10:00 AM-4:00 PM. The specific schedule can be determined and agreed upon 7-10 days in advance based on the family's needs and the nanny's availability).

Compensation:
$35/hr depending on experience and qualifications, with 16 weekly guaranteed hours, paid time off, accrued paid sick time, paid federal holidays. Legal pay/taxes withheld, pay via payroll company and direct deposit. One year minimum commitment is required

The Family:
This loving family of four is seeking a fantastic, part time nanny to join their team. The parents are warm, thoughtful employers who already have a full time nanny during the week, but they need some additional care. Their daughter is a sweet, cheerful baby who is curious to explore the world around her. They would like to partner with a nanny who will engage with her, and nurture her inquisitive mind, and who can accompany them and be an extra set of hands during outings. There are no pets in the home.
The Job Description:
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing and loving environment for their baby.
Job duties will include:
Basic infant care, ensuring all needs are met daily Facilitating naps and helping the family with nap structuring/independent napping Diapering, hygiene care, maintaining and stocking diaper bag and supplies Offering age-appropriate developmental and sensory activities including developmental milestone support Regular outside time for walks/play Child-specific cleaning/tidying and laundry Accompanying the family on outings to care for the baby Bathing the baby Willingness to occasionally help with household help during nap time and after taking a rest/meal break: baby laundry, folding children's clothes, preparing baby food, laundry, (they have regular cleaning help)
Nanny Attributes/Qualifications/Requirements:
Their ideal nanny has a minimum of 5 years of relevant infant care experience, and 8 years of childcare nanny experience. They should be proactive, nurturing, patient, and a good communicator. The nanny should be genuinely interested in helping to support their child in play, learning, language development, tummy time, reading books, and supporting developmental milestones. It's important to the family that the nanny be comfortable accompanying them on outings during the weekends. The nanny must be able to bathe the child independently. The nanny should have a valid Driver's License, a clean driving record (no on-the-job driving is required), and be up to date with all vaccinations including Covid + booster, TDaP, and annual Influenza. The nanny should be current with their CPR/First Aid Certification (or be willing to update asap).
Pay:
$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 20.0 per week
