Joyous Town Preschool is now hiring reliable support staff to join our amazing team! Working hours are 12-5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be available depending on the needs of the program. This position includes closing the center with two additional staff members, ensuring spaces and materials are cleaned by end of the day, oversee activities and daily routines. We are a Montessori and STEAM based preschool whose mission is to provide high-quality education and safe environment for the children. Some of the duties include but are not limited to the following: Ensure all classrooms and buildling are cleaned and closed at 5:30pm Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean and safe for all children Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, children and parents Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs Afternoon snacks prepping General cleaning of the preschool facility Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :

DCYF Merit Portable Background check TB test (proof of negative result) Food Handlers Permit First Aid and CPR (including infants) certification (in-person training)

Staff Qualifications :

One year of childcare experience Child Care Basics (30 Stars Hours Training) Passionate about working with children Positive and patient demeanor
