Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Child Care Director to lead and oversee the daily operations of our early childhood education center. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including preschool, toddler, and infant care programs. Supervise and support teaching staff to ensure high-quality classroom management, behavior guidance, and child supervision. Maintain compliance with all licensing regulations, mandated reporting laws, health and safety standards, including first aid and pediatric CPR certifications. Foster strong communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and collaborative problem-solving to support each child's unique needs. Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and professional team. Manage daily center operations, including enrollment processes, record keeping, inventory management, and ensuring a clean, organized environment. Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in childhood education practices and promote a culture of caregiving excellence. Requirements 2+ years in previous childcare experience Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or children with disabilities. Demonstrated classroom experience with early childhood education principles such as child development instruction and behavior management. Valid certifications in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws. Strong leadership skills with experience managing childcare staff or daycare teams in a licensed setting. Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Knowledge of special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
