Both parents are physicians and enjoy cooking together, listening to music, spending time outdoors, staying active, running, biking, and exploring all that the Madison area has to offer. Their son is currently four months old and is a happy, curious little boy who loves being held and interacting with those around him. He is very smiley, enjoys observing his surroundings. The family is hoping to find a nanny who is dependable, communicative, and genuinely passionate about working with infants and toddlers. Above all else, they are looking for someone who can provide a warm, loving environment where their son feels safe, nurtured, and encouraged as he grows. They would love to find a nanny with hands-on experience caring for children in the infant and toddler age range who is invested in child development and enjoys creating meaningful learning opportunities throughout the day. Their ideal nanny is someone who: Has strong infant and toddler experience Is highly reliable and communicates well Works collaboratively with parents as part of a team Is engaged in developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities Enjoys getting children out into the community for walks, library programs, parks, and other enriching experiences Is flexible and adaptable as schedules occasionally change (someone who has worked with physicians previously and understands their demanding schedules is a plus!). One parent may work from home approximately once every week or two, but both parents strive to provide their nanny with the autonomy and space needed to be successful in the role. Schedule The family follows a healthcare schedule, so hours will vary somewhat from week to week. The nanny will receive their schedule approximately three weeks in advance and can expect to be scheduled one month at a time. Four days per week most weeks Schedule falls within the general timeframe of 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM Most days will have a later start time Guaranteed 35 hours per week Opportunity for up to 40 hours per week with advance notice Start date: Flexible, with a preference for the last two weeks of September Compensation & Benefits $26-28+/hour based on experience Guaranteed hours Paid holidays One week of nanny-selected PTO Additional paid time off aligning with the family's travel schedule (8+ weeks annually) Five paid sick days $150/month health insurance stipend This family is truly looking for a long-term partnership with someone who will become an important part of their lives and grow with them.
