A Nanny or Babysitter provides care for children in their homes. Stays with children on a regular basis or for occasional day or evening times, or works full time; may live with a family.
KidStop staff is responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children before and after school. Staff serve as positive role models, promoting children's well-being and encouraging an inclusive and respectful environment. This role requires strong teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to respond appropriately to children's needs in both a childcare and school setting.
Required Duties:
We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and caring individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in their community. Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while leading games, crafts, homework support, and other enrichment activities. Build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and coworkers. Maintain clean and organized program spaces and follow all program policies, safety procedures, and district expectations. Communicate effectively, work well as part of a team, and serve as a positive role model for children. Be positive, dependable, punctual, and willing to learn and grow. First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required after hire (training provided).
Schedule:
KidStop follows the Sheboygan Area School District elementary school calendar, giving staff weekends, holidays, and school breaks off. Staff may work mornings, afternoons, or both. NO weekends & NO Holidays.
Morning Shift:
6:30 a.m. to school start.
Afternoon Shift:
School dismissal to 5:45 p.m.
