Child Care Aide - Before & After School Program Morning and Afternoon Adventures Monongalia County, WV 2026-2027 School Year Make a Difference in a Child's Day! Morning and Afternoon Adventures is looking for enthusiastic and responsible Child Care Aides to join our growing before and after school program for the 2026-2027 school year ! This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants a rewarding position where they can help create a safe, positive, and fun environment for children before and after their school day.

Schedule Monday-Friday:

Morning Shift:

6:30 AM-8:30

AM Afternoon Shift:

3:00 PM-6:00 PM Our program offers a consistent weekday schedule, making this position a great fit for individuals looking for part-time work during the school year. What You'll Do As a Child Care Aide, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for the children in our program.

Responsibilities may include:

Supervising children and ensuring their safety and well-being Supporting children during play, activities, and daily routines Helping plan and participate in fun, age-appropriate activities Encouraging positive interactions and teamwork among children Providing a caring and supportive presence for children Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized program environment Communicating professionally with parents, guardians, and team members Following program policies and state child care regulations Assisting with other program responsibilities as needed Qualifications Must be dependable, responsible, and caring Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass required federal and state background checks Previous child care or experience working with children is preferred No previous child care experience?
