Youth Ministry Leader

Job Description

Job Summary Pell City First United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Youth Ministry Leader to disciple and engage middle and high school students in their faith journey. The Youth Ministry Leader will develop and lead programs that foster spiritual growth, fellowship, and service opportunities, helping students build a strong foundation in Christ. This is a part-time position, requiring flexible hours, including evenings and weekends particularly Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Responsibilities Lead and mentor youth in spiritual growth and development through engaging activities and programs. Communicate effectively with parents and community members to foster a supportive environment. Plan and organize events that promote fellowship and outreach. Collaborate with church leadership to align youth programs with overall ministry goals. Facilitate teaching sessions that encourage participation and learning among youth. Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in event planning and mentoring youth Teaching experience with children and youth
