Youth & Family Associate Pastor Northport Global Methodist Church, Northport, Alabama Northport Methodist Church is prayerfully seeking a Youth & Family Associate Pastor to join our ministry team. We are looking for a ministry-minded leader with a heart for reaching young people and families, a passion for making disciples of Jesus Christ, and a clear sense of calling toward full-time vocational ministry. This role is designed for someone who desires to grow in ministry leadership while serving alongside our pastors, staff, volunteers, and congregation. The ideal candidate will be committed to biblical teaching, discipleship, relationship building, and creating meaningful opportunities for youth and families to encounter Christ. Primary Responsibilities Develop and lead a vibrant youth ministry focused on discipleship, spiritual growth, and fellowship. Build meaningful relationships with students and their families. Plan and lead youth gatherings, Bible studies, retreats, mission opportunities, and outreach events. Partner with parents to support faith development in the home. Recruit, train, and encourage adult volunteers. Assist with family ministry programs and church-wide discipleship efforts. Participate in worship, ministry planning, and other pastoral responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Ability to lead a contemporary worship setting. A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a strong commitment to the authority of Scripture. A calling toward full-time Christian ministry and a desire to continue developing as a ministry leader. Experience working with youth and families in a church or ministry setting. Strong communication, leadership, and relational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with pastors, staff, volunteers, and families. Willingness to pursue further ministry training or credentialing within the Global Methodist Church, if applicable.
