Position Summary LifeBridge Community Church is seeking a relational, organized, and mission-driven Youth Pastor / Director of Youth Programs & Outreach to lead youth programming both within the church and throughout the community. This is a unique role combining youth ministry leadership, community outreach, and youth program management. This individual will lead LifeBridge's youth ministry while also developing and overseeing community-based youth programs, partnerships, events, and outreach initiatives. The role includes building relationships with students and families, coordinating community partnerships, managing programs and events, tracking participation and outcomes, and creating opportunities for young people to grow personally, socially, and spiritually. The ideal candidate combines the heart of a youth pastor with the organizational and leadership abilities of a strong program manager. They should genuinely enjoy working with young people while also being comfortable managing partnerships, schedules, volunteers, events, documentation, and multiple priorities. Key ResponsibilitiesYouth Programs & Program Management Lead the development, implementation, and day-to-day management of youth programs and initiatives. Coordinate workshops, events, outreach efforts, mentoring opportunities, and youth engagement activities. Develop clear program goals, schedules, processes, and systems for effective implementation. Maintain accurate records related to youth participation, programming, partnerships, and activities. Track participation, engagement, outcomes, and program effectiveness. Coordinate facilities, materials, volunteers, vendors, transportation, and event logistics as needed. Evaluate programs regularly and identify opportunities to strengthen participation, engagement, and impact. Work collaboratively with organizational leadership and community partners to ensure youth programs are implemented effectively. Youth Ministry Leadership Lead and oversee LifeBridge youth ministry programs, gatherings, services, small groups, and special events. Create engaging environments where students feel welcomed, valued, connected, and challenged to grow. Develop and implement biblically grounded teaching, curriculum, discipleship opportunities, and leadership development. Help students develop a thriving relationship with God and understand how their faith applies to everyday life. Recruit, train, equip, and support youth ministry volunteers and leaders. Develop student leaders and create meaningful opportunities for students to serve. Community Outreach & Partnerships Build meaningful relationships with schools, youth-serving organizations, community groups, sports programs, nonprofits, and other community partners. Develop strategies for reaching youth who may not currently be connected to LifeBridge or another supportive community. Represent LifeBridge at schools, community events, resource fairs, outreach activities, and partner meetings. Identify opportunities for collaboration that increase youth participation and expand access to programs and resources. Coordinate outreach events, workshops, service projects, camps, conferences, and special activities. Develop strong referral and engagement pathways with community partners. Create opportunities for young people to become connected to positive mentors, resources, and supportive relationships. Relationships, Mentoring & Discipleship Build authentic, consistent relationships with youth and their families. Provide mentorship, encouragement, spiritual guidance, and appropriate pastoral support to students. Create opportunities for youth to discover their strengths, gifts, interests, and leadership potential. Partner with parents and caregivers to support the overall development of their children. Develop a culture where students feel known, supported, challenged, and connected. Leadership & Administration Develop annual and quarterly goals for youth ministry, outreach, and youth programs. Track participation, engagement, partnerships, and program outcomes. Manage assigned budgets and program resources responsibly. Maintain organized program records, calendars, communications, and documentation. Ensure compliance with church policies, youth safety standards, and applicable organizational requirements. Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, trainings, and organizational events. Collaborate with pastors, staff, volunteers, and community partners to advance the overall mission of LifeBridge. Continually evaluate programs and identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and growth. QualificationsRequired A growing and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Alignment with the mission, values, and beliefs of LifeBridge Community Church. A genuine passion for working with youth and helping young people thrive. Strong organizational and program-management abilities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to connect naturally and authentically with teenagers and young adults. Ability to develop relationships with parents, volunteers, schools, community organizations, and partner agencies. Strong follow-through and attention to documentation, deadlines, and responsibilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively in both small-group and large-group settings. Comfortable using technology for communication, documentation, scheduling, and program tracking. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, Sundays, weekends, and occasional special events. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to successfully complete required background checks and youth-safety requirements. Preferred Previous experience in youth ministry, youth development, education, mentoring, coaching, nonprofit programming, or community outreach. Experience managing youth-focused or community-based programs. Experience tracking program participation, engagement, or outcomes. Experience building partnerships with schools or community organizations. Experience teaching or facilitating groups of youth. Experience recruiting, training, and leading volunteers. Experience coordinating events, workshops, camps, or community programs. Familiarity with the needs, challenges, and opportunities facing young people in Fresno and the Central Valley. Understanding of current youth culture and effective strategies for engaging the next generation. The Person We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Relational. Youth ministry and community outreach don't always happen between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and you're comfortable working in a role where some evenings and weekends are part of the mission. Pay:
