This individual will create environments where students can build meaningful relationships, encounter Jesus, develop a thriving relationship with God, and discover their purpose. The Youth Pastor will actively engage youth both inside and outside the church through discipleship, outreach, events, mentorship, and community partnerships. The ideal candidate is someone who loves Jesus, connects naturally with young people, and is energized by gathering people, building relationships, and reaching the next generation with the hope of Christ. Key Responsibilities Youth Ministry Leadership Lead and oversee all youth ministry programs, gatherings, services, and special events. Create engaging environments where students feel welcomed, valued, and connected. Develop and implement biblically grounded curriculum, small groups, and discipleship opportunities. Recruit, train, equip, and support youth volunteers and ministry leaders. Foster spiritual growth and leadership development among students. Outreach & Community Engagement Develop and implement strategies to connect with unchurched youth and families. Build bridges with local schools, community organizations, sports programs, and youth-serving agencies. Plan and coordinate outreach events, community service projects, youth camps, conferences, and special activities. Represent LifeBridge Community Church at community events, outreach opportunities, and health fairs. Encourage students to invite and engage their friends and peers. Relationship Building & Mentorship Build authentic relationships with youth and their families. Provide spiritual guidance, encouragement, and mentorship to students. Create opportunities for youth to discover their gifts, serve others, and grow as leaders. Partner with parents to support the spiritual development of their children. Partnership Development Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with community stakeholders. Serve as a bridge between the church and local youth-serving organizations. Identify opportunities to expand youth programming through community partnerships. Program Development & Administration Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of youth ministry activities. Manage ministry resources, budgets, and event logistics as assigned. Ensure compliance with church policies and youth safety standards. Collaborate with church leadership and ministry teams to support the overall mission and vision of LifeBridge Community Church. Qualifications R equired A growing and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Alignment with the mission, values, and beliefs of LifeBridge Community Church. Passion for reaching and discipling the next generation. Strong communication, teaching, and leadership skills. Ability to gather, engage, and inspire youth and volunteers. Strong relationship-building and community networking abilities. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional special events. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Previous experience in youth ministry, youth leadership, education, coaching, mentoring, or community outreach. Experience planning and leading events, small groups, or discipleship programs. Experience recruiting and developing volunteers.
