We are seeking a spiritually mature and musically gifted Worship Pastor/Director to lead Christ-centered, biblically grounded, and Spirit-led worship. Position Summary The Worship Pastor/Director will plan and lead worship services, develop worship teams, coordinate with pastoral and technical staff, and help cultivate a worship culture that values God's presence over performance and relationships over recognition. Key Responsibilities Plan and lead assigned Sunday worship services. Select biblically sound and congregationally accessible songs. Lead rehearsals and prepare worship teams. Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor musicians and vocalists. Coordinate with the Senior Pastor, staff, ProPresenter, and audio-visual teams. Prepare service plans, song charts, lyrics, transitions, and media needs in advance. Lead special services, including Easter, Christmas, Communion, baptisms, and church-wide events. Encourage a multicultural and intergenerational worship ministry. Provide spiritual care and leadership to worship team members. Attend staff and worship-planning meetings. Qualifications A mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Experience leading congregational worship. Strong vocal and/or instrumental ability. Ability to lead volunteers and develop worship leaders. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Agreement with the mission, vision, and beliefs of SCFBC. Familiarity with ProPresenter and worship-planning tools is preferred. Experience in a multicultural or intergenerational church is highly valued. The final title of Worship Pastor or Worship Director will be based on the candidate's pastoral experience, ministry training, qualifications, and assigned responsibilities.
