Director/Pastor of Connection Community and Care Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church

This person will facilitate the journey from first time guest to new member providing structural leadership and shepherding.Welcoming:
Oversee Sunday guest experience including hospitality.Connecting:
Create and sustain best practices for guest follow up and invitation into next steps of connection with WCPC ministries.Belonging:
Help newcomers plug into community, service, and membership.COMMUNITY
Cultivate leadership and build structures for healthy and growth-producing community at WCPC. This includes oversight of adult ministries and community groups. Recruit, coach, and care for Community Group leaders. Support the multiplication of existing groups and facilitate the launch of new groups. Supervise and support Lay-Led ministry leaders and their ministries, including men's and women's ministries. Coordinate with staff to maintain appropriate calendar and cohesive approach to staff led adult ministries. CARE Work with the Associate Pastor to provide leadership to the Deacons as well as direction, leadership and training for the ministries of: Prayer Homebound and Hospital Visitation Memorials Additional responsibilities may be assigned as ministry or organizational needs develop.
