GC Kids Pastor Generation Church -
Jupiter, FL Full-Time Salary Range:
$55,000 - $90,000, depending upon experience Generation Church is a growing, life-giving church in Jupiter, Florida. We exist to empower every generation to find purpose in the message and cause of Jesus so that, together, we change the world. We are seeking a strong, visionary, and spiritually mature GC Kids Pastor to lead our children's ministry into its next season of growth. This person will provide leadership and oversight for GC Kids, creating a safe, excellent, fun, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn about Jesus, grow in faith, and discover their God-given purpose. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a heart for Christ, a passion for discipling children, and the ability to build teams, develop volunteers, strengthen systems, and grow a healthy ministry. Responsibilities ? Lead and oversee all areas of GC Kids, from nursery through elementary-aged children. ? Cast vision and develop strategies for growth, excellence, and spiritual impact. ? Create engaging, age-appropriate environments where children can learn biblical truth and experience the love of Jesus. ? Recruit, train, schedule, encourage, and lead GC Kids volunteers. ? Build a healthy volunteer culture marked by joy, excellence, accountability, and care. ? Partner with parents as they disciple their children. ? Oversee curriculum, classroom environments, check-in, safety procedures, and Sunday ministry execution. ? Plan, organize, and lead GC Kids camps, including volunteer teams, programming, safety, communication, and overall execution. ? Oversee special holiday programs and children's ministry presentations, including Christmas, Easter, and other church-wide family experiences. ? Collaborate with worship, production, creative, and pastoral teams to execute excellent kids ministry events and special services. ? Maintain high standards for child safety, security, cleanliness, and volunteer screening. ? Evaluate systems and processes to support ministry growth. ? Communicate clearly and consistently with parents, volunteers, and staff. ? Work collaboratively with the church staff to support church-wide events and ministry goals. Qualifications ? A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrated Christian character. ? A heart for children, families, and the discipleship of the next generation. ? Proven leadership experience in children's ministry, family ministry, education, or a related field. ? Experience planning and leading children's ministry events, camps, programs, or special services preferred. ? Strong leadership, communication, organization, and team-building skills. ? Ability to grow a ministry through vision, systems, volunteer development, and healthy leadership. ? Alignment with the mission, values, and culture of Generation Church. ? Willingness to actively attend and participate in the life of Generation Church. ? Must complete background check and child safety requirements. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is not only able to lead the current ministry with excellence, but also has the vision and capability to grow GC Kids into its next season. They are warm, organized, dependable, spiritually mature, and passionate about helping children know Jesus and build a lifelong foundation of faith.
