The Fellowship Church | Leesburg, Florida About the Opportunity The Fellowship Church is looking for a gifted, passionate, and spiritually mature Worship Leader to help lead and strengthen the worship culture of our church. We're not simply looking for someone who can sing well or lead a great worship set. We're looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, and is passionate about helping others encounter God through worship. The ideal candidate is a confident worship leader who can lead a congregation, develop musicians and vocalists, build healthy volunteer teams, and collaborate with church leadership to create meaningful, Christ-centered worship experiences. What We're Looking For Our Worship Leader should be someone who: Has a genuine, growing relationship with Jesus and a heart for the local church. Is a gifted worship leader with strong vocal ability and proficiency in guitar or piano. Understands musical arrangements, transitions, dynamics, and how to build engaging, Spirit-led worship sets. Loves developing people and can effectively lead, coach, and encourage musicians and vocalists. Is relational, humble, emotionally mature, and passionate about discipleship. Values musical excellence while cultivating a healthy, encouraging team culture. Is organized, dependable, and comfortable coordinating volunteers, rehearsals, and weekly worship preparation. Is collaborative, teachable, and willing to work closely with pastoral and production leadership. Has a servant's heart and understands that worship is about pointing people to Jesus, not building a platform. What You'll Do Lead Worship Lead worship during weekend services, special events, and church gatherings. Plan and prepare worship sets that align with the vision and teaching of the church. Lead rehearsals and ensure teams are spiritually and musically prepared. Collaborate with pastoral and production teams to create cohesive, meaningful worship experiences. Provide musical coaching, feedback, and opportunities for leadership development. Invest in the spiritual growth and personal well-being of worship team members. Coordinate Worship Ministry Schedule volunteers and maintain consistent team communication. Prepare chord charts, arrangements, tracks, and rehearsal resources. Partner with production teams to ensure services are prepared and executed with excellence. Participate in service planning, staff meetings, and ministry events as needed. Who Will Thrive Here The right person for this role genuinely loves worship and loves people. You enjoy leading a congregation in worship, but you find just as much fulfillment in helping someone else discover their gifts and grow in confidence. You care about musical excellence, but you care even more about the spiritual health of the people serving alongside you. You understand that meaningful worship experiences are cultivated through prayer, preparation, healthy relationships, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Qualifications Previous experience leading worship in a local church setting. Strong vocal ability and proficiency in guitar or piano. Experience leading musicians, vocalists, or volunteer teams. Understanding of contemporary worship music and worship ministry practices. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Blackmagic Studio — Video production, camera systems, and live switching. Live-Streaming Software — Online service production and streaming. Lightkey — Lighting design, programming, and service cues.
