EXECUTIVE PASTOR OF MINISTRY AND MULTIPLICATION
The Executive Pastor of Ministry and Multiplication will serve as The Vine Church's primary ministry architect and organizational leader under the direction of the Lead Pastor. The Lead Pastor will continue to provide overall vision, theological leadership, primary preaching, and external leadership. The Executive Pastor will translate that vision into coordinated ministry strategy, develop staff and leaders, align ministries across campuses, and build the organizational capacity required for sustainable growth and multiplication. This position is not primarily administrative. The Executive Pastor will supervise a Church Operations Administrator who manages recurring administrative processes, data, communication, financial administration, event logistics, and office systems. The Executive Pastor's central responsibility is to build a healthy ministry ecosystem in which people, leaders, teams, campuses, and systems work together to fulfill our mission.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Vision and Strategy- Translate The Vine's vision, theology, values, and priorities into actionable ministry strategy.
- Develop annual and multiyear ministry plans that align staff, ministries, campuses, budgets, and leadership development.
- Establish clear organizational goals, priorities, measurements, and accountability.
- Lead major initiatives from concept through implementation and evaluation.
- Identify organizational barriers that could limit future health, growth, or multiplication. Staff Leadership
- Supervise, coach, develop, and evaluate designated pastors and ministry directors.
- Build a staff culture characterized by trust, clarity, responsibility, collaboration, and spiritual maturity.
- Clarify roles, expectations, authority, reporting relationships, and decision-making processes.
- Help staff establish organizational goals and individual leadership-development goals.
- Address conflict, underperformance, misalignment, and ambiguity with courage, wisdom, and care.
- Identify staffing gaps and recommend appropriate changes to roles, structure, or personnel. Leadership Development and Multiplication
- Design a churchwide pathway for identifying, equipping, deploying, and supporting leaders.
- Help staff members become developers of leaders rather than only managers of programs.
- Create training, coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job development opportunities.
- Build a sustainable leadership bench for ministries, campuses, partnerships, and future expansion.
- Develop processes that move people from attending to belonging, serving, leading, and multiplying. Ministry and Multisite Alignment
- Align children's, student, worship, care, prayer, groups, connections, outreach, and campus ministries as one discipleship ecosystem.
- Evaluate ministries for mission alignment, effectiveness, leadership health, scalability, and stewardship.
- Help leaders define meaningful outcomes rather than measuring success primarily by activity.
- Strengthen unity and coordination between our Port Orange and Daytona Beach campuses.
- Clarify what should be centralized and what should be led locally.

- Design clear structures, reporting relationships, communication rhythms, and decision-making processes.
- Supervise the Church Operations Administrator and ensure administrative systems support ministry priorities.
- Lead annual ministry-planning and budgeting processes with the Lead Pastor and financial leadership.
- Help the church become less dependent on informal knowledge, individual personalities, and last-minute intervention.
- Build systems that support ministry without allowing systems to replace relationships, discernment, or dependence upon the Holy Spirit.
