Job Description
Position Summary Faith Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Worship Leader to lead our congregation in authentic, engaging worship each Sunday. This individual will work alongside our church staff and worship team to create meaningful worship experiences that help people encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. The ideal candidate is a gifted vocalist and leader who values teamwork, discipleship, and excellence while fostering an atmosphere of worship that is both biblically grounded and welcoming. Responsibilities Plan and lead worship for Sunday morning services. Select songs that align with the weekly sermon and church vision. Recruit, schedule, and shepherd worship team volunteers. Lead weekly rehearsals with the worship team. Work closely with the pastor and church staff to plan worship services and special events. Coordinate with the media and production team to ensure smooth worship services. Help cultivate a culture of worship, encouragement, and spiritual growth within the worship ministry. Participate in staff meetings as requested. Assist with worship leadership for special services throughout the year, including Christmas, Easter, and other church events. Qualifications A growing and authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. Experience leading congregational worship. Strong vocal and musical abilities. Ability to lead and develop volunteer musicians and vocalists. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and volunteers. Proficiency with Planning Center, ProPresenter, or similar worship planning software is preferred. Agreement with the mission and values of Faith Methodist Church.
