Job Summary Worship Leader/Student Ministry Leader Westview Baptist Church in Hawkinsville GA, is seeking a mature full time Worship Leader/Student Ministry Leader. The candidate should have strong music background, a deep passion for worship of God, the confident ability to lead others, and a desire for Christ to be exalted through hymns, praise and contemporary music leading congregational worship. The candidate should be proficient in playing an instrument (piano or guitar) and leading vocalists. Have a good knowledge and experience working with audio- visual, sound, multi-track and tech devices. The candidate should also have a love for students to know Jesus. The ability to recruit, train and shepherd the volunteers that serve in the student ministry. To oversee the student ministry budget, website, camps, missions, VBS and student related curriculum. To use all available means [electronic, social and print media] to ensure parents and students are well informed of the student ministry functions.  The candidate must be assured of God's call on their life in salvation and to ministry and have or are pursuing a bachelor's degree in music, Christian Education, or Children and Youth Ministry.  A lifestyle that is aligned with biblical leadership [1 Tim. 3:1-7, 2 Tim. 2, Titus 1:5-9].  Be able to work in harmony with the Pastor and staff and willing to live in Pulaski County and submit to background screenings [criminal and credit checks].  Three references required [work and personal] The position has a competitive salary, paid vacation, health coverage, and retirement benefits available.
