Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging youth programs that promote spiritual growth, leadership, and community involvement. Lead weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and special events that foster a sense of belonging and spiritual development. Mentor and counsel youth on personal challenges, spiritual questions, and life decisions with compassion and guidance rooted in religious teachings. Coordinate volunteer efforts by recruiting, training, and supervising youth ministry volunteers to ensure safe and effective program delivery. Plan outreach activities, mission trips, and service projects that encourage youth participation in local and global community service initiatives. Collaborate with church staff and parents to support the holistic development of young members, including religious education and social activities. Manage event logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, publicity, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols for all youth activities. Qualifications Proven experience in youth ministry or youth engagement within a religious organization or faith-based setting. Strong background in religious teaching, pastoral theology, and Christian counseling tailored to young people. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor adolescents effectively. Excellent communication skills for engaging with youth, parents, volunteers, and church leadership. Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings within a nonprofit faith-based organization. Knowledge of event planning, fundraising strategies for nonprofit organizations, and volunteer management. Ability to handle sensitive situations such as bereavement support or social work with compassion and professionalism. $50,524.84 - $60,847.12 per year
