Our Nampa location serves a thriving average attendance of 1,500+ weekly attendees, and we are seeking a passionate, Spirit-filled Kids Pastor to lead and grow our ministry for children and families. Full-Time About the Role The Kids Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for the ministry serving children from birth through 5th grade. This person will champion discipleship, build effective ministry systems, recruit and develop leaders, and create safe, engaging environments where children and families can thrive. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Recruit, interview, train, and develop leaders and ministry teams. Create a healthy leadership pipeline that equips and empowers others for ministry. Lead and participate in ministry planning, staff meetings, and leadership development initiatives. Foster a culture of spiritual growth, excellence, and teamwork among staff and volunteers. Ministry Oversight Lead all aspects of the Kids Ministry for children from birth through 5th grade. Create and oversee dynamic weekend experiences that help children know and follow Jesus. Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure age-appropriate discipleship opportunities. Support child baptisms, child dedications, and family-focused events. Partner with parents to encourage spiritual growth in the home. Pastoral Care & Family Engagement Build strong relationships with children, parents, and volunteers. Provide pastoral support and spiritual direction for families. Help families connect to the life of the church through discipleship pathways, First Step, Rooted, and serving opportunities. Operations & Administration Maintain safe, secure, and welcoming ministry environments. Oversee check-in systems, safety training, and kids safety protocols. Manage ministry budgets responsibly and effectively. Implement ministry systems, structures, and best practices. Qualifications Spiritual & Personal A growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. Demonstrates strong character, integrity, and emotional maturity. Committed to supporting and upholding the beliefs, values, and membership standards of Christian Faith Center. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Leadership Proven ability to recruit, develop, and deploy leaders effectively. Excellent team builder and multiplier. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to lead teams toward measurable ministry goals. Ministry Experience Experience in children's ministry leadership preferred. Gifted communicator and teacher. Experience providing pastoral care, spiritual direction, and discipleship. Ability to minister effectively across various backgrounds, cultures, and life stages.
